Adelaide United coach Guillermo Amor says he is “very happy” with his side’s performance despite suffering a 3-0 defeat away to Brisbane Roar on Saturday night.
The Reds were punished for their profligacy as a number of opportunities either side of the break went begging before Roar wrapped up the result in the final 15 minutes.

The result stretched Adelaide’s winless run to four matches, but Amor believes his side is exhibiting enough potential to snap that streak.
“I’m very happy. The players did we what we told them to do,” Amor said.
“We conceded the first goal inside 10 minutes. After that the game was balanced.
“In the last 20 minutes of the first half we dominated the game.
“In the second half again there was only one team on the field, we dominated as well. This happened until we conceded the second goal.”
Now facing a crucial home clash with Melbourne City on Thursday night, Amor remains unconcerned about his team’s troubles in front of goal.
“We are working on it. Maybe today they didn’t go in but maybe the next game they will go in,” he said.
“I only believe in the work. When you work more and more is when things go better and better.”
