Alagich Vidmar 2025/26 Remo Paris Club Person of the Year: Dylan Holmes

Adelaide United is pleased to announce Dylan Holmes as winner of the 2025/26 Remo Paris Club Person of the Year award.

The Remo Paris Club Person of the Year has been awarded since 2016 in recognition of the Club person that personifies the Reds’ cultural values.

The award is named in honour of the late Franco Remo Paris, who passed away on 19 March 2016. Remo Paris was a part of the Adelaide United medical staff since the Club’s inception and was a valued member of the Club; loved by players, coaches, and staff alike, for his infectious humour and passion for football. His dedication to the development of football in South Australia was immense and his contribution to the game forever remembered.

The winner of the Remo Paris award is judged to have conducted themselves in a manner which others aspire to and are willing to make a sacrifice and put others first. Nominations are considered by Adelaide United Management who then select the overall winner.

Previous award recipients include: Colin Varacalli, William Cutts, Fabrizio Petrone, Eleni Vosnakis, Campbell Arnold, Francesca Queale, and Marius Zanin.

A mainstay of Adelaide United since 2014, Dylan Holmes has become synonymous with commitment, leadership, and service, amassing 115 A-League Women’s appearances in Red.

A constant presence within the Club’s leadership group, Holmes is renowned as a body-on-the-line competitor who never leaves anything out on the pitch, setting the standard through her relentless work rate and team-first mentality. Off the field, her impact has been just as significant. Holmes has led the Club’s Football in Schools program over the past two seasons and played an influential role within the Professional Footballers Australia, progressing from delegate to the PFA Executive.

In that capacity, Holmes has contributed to several A-League Women’s CBA negotiations, reinforcing the players’ voice in shaping the future of the competition.

Adelaide United CEO, Nathan Kosmina, praised Holmes’ outstanding contribution to the Club:

“Dylan’s contribution to Adelaide United extends far beyond her performances on the pitch. Over more than a decade, she has embodied the values of this Club through her leadership, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to her teammates and community.

Her work within the PFA and dedication to developing the game off the field highlight the calibre of person she is. She is a true servant of the Club and thoroughly deserving of this recognition.”
