Adelaide United Youth again are at home this week, this time against the Para Hills Knights in round 8 of the South Australian National Premier League 2018 Season, at Smith Partners Stadium.
After a great win and a clean sheet against Campbelltown City on Easter Monday, the Young Reds are looking to continue their good run of form against Para Hills Knights.
Lachlan Brook was excited ahead of the upcoming fixture, after what was a scintillating performance against Campbelltown City.
“I think it was a really good performance,” he said.
“All the boys put in a one-hundred per cent effort, and obviously when we do that and work as a team we can play some really good football.
“I think we were clinical as well, which in some weeks was our downfall and we definitely did put our chances away which was the reason for the result.”
Brook was quick to praise the speed and intensity with which the Young Reds started the game, specifically the attacking trio.
“I feel that the first twenty, we were really attacking, and found a lot of gaps in the midfield,” he said.
“That first twenty really set us up well, when Charlie scored we just kept the momentum going.
“It’s not always easy to have the front three with players coming in and out, now they’ve definitely gelled and with Pacifique back, as well as Aladin, we have a lot of pace up front.”

Brook was also pleased with the team’s ability to keep another clean sheet, especially against a tough side like Campbelltown.
“It’s always good to score goals but definitely important to keep a clean sheet, there wasn’t that many chances coming at us either, Isaac didn’t have too much to do, which is always good,” he said.
United are looking for a third win in a row as they come up against Para Hills Knights in Round 8 of the NPLSA and Brook confident that the team could come away with another three-points.
“Very confident, especially with six goals in two games I think we’re in a great run of form, if we just keep doing the same thing we’ll do well,” he continued.
With a win this week, the Young Reds could find themselves sky rocket up into the top four, if other fixtures go their way.
Brook wasn’t too concerned with the ladder, though, as the Young Reds are focusing more on their performances.
“It’s always good to have a look now and then, but focusing on how we play together is definitely more important, especially early in the season.”
