Adelaide United will learn their 2026/27 AFC Champions League Two Group Stage opponents next week, with the draw set to take place at the Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on Tuesday, August 18.
The draw is scheduled to commence at 3:30pm ACST, with Adelaide United among 32 clubs competing in the 22nd edition of Asia’s second-tier men’s club competition.
Following the confirmation of entries, the 32 participating clubs have been seeded into four pots per region in accordance with the 2026/27 Slot Allocation, before being drawn into groups of four.
Adelaide United have been placed in Pot 1 of the East Region, alongside Gangwon FC (KOR), FC Machida Zelvia (JPN) and FC Seoul (KOR).
The Reds will discover their three Group Stage opponents during Tuesday’s draw, with the competition to be played in a home-and-away round-robin format across six matchdays.
The Group Stage will take place between Tuesday, September 15 and Wednesday, December 3, with Adelaide United’s full fixture schedule to be confirmed following the draw.
The 2026/27 campaign will mark Adelaide United’s return to AFC Champions League competition, with the Reds set to test themselves against some of Asia’s leading clubs.
