Reds and UCAN break-out bone away kit for 22/23

The Reds and UCAN have officially unveiled the final Adelaide United kit for the 2022/23 season.

Designed in-house once again, the 2022/23 away kit is one of the sleekest strip creations by the Club and UCAN’s technical experts to-date.

Accented with black trim around the raglan sleeves and thin panelling beneath the arms, the bone white shirt is clinical, yet stylish with its jacquard fabric. Jacquard mesh panels also improve breathability, wicking, and comfort for players and fans alike.

Panashe Madanha, Bernardo, Emilia Murray, Alexandar Popović in the away kit.

South Australia’s iconic Piping Shrike and the Club’s establishment date, 2003, is embedded across the top, while the Adelaide United and UCAN crests have been implemented using high-density embroidery technology and unique stitching methods.

Adelaide United’s Head of Marketing and Communications, Marius Zanin, said: “Designing our away kits have become an internal favourite for our team.

“Whilst our home shirts will forever be iconic and the purest example of our identity, finding new and exciting ways to represent the South Australian people and our Club is the essence of our alternate shirts.

“We always talk about being ‘bold’ and that’s for great reason – we don’t want to go with the grain anymore.

“We want to create discussion and excitement and I believe this kit does exactly that.

“It will have people talking for all the right reasons because ‘that’s bone’.

“Crucially, the flexibility UCAN provides us throughout the design process is what enables us to push the boundaries so seamlessly.”

UCAN’s Global General Manager, Ally Zhao, said: “As always, it’s been another enjoyable experience designing this kit alongside Adelaide United.

“This is another unique design brought about by a unique and diverse partnership.”

For the third consecutive season, Platinum Partner, Australian Outdoor living, will appear on the front of the Isuzu UTE A-League home shirt, while Kite will feature on the front of the Liberty A-League kit for the first time after becoming the new Co-Major Partner of the Women’s team.

The iconic McDonald’s logo will also be present on the right sleeve of the jersey for both teams.

Supporters can purchase the 2022/23 away shirt from the Adelaide United Store in Hindmarsh, or online via the Adelaide United Online Store.
