Adelaide United is pleased to announce the signing of midfielder, Josh Cavallo, for the rest of the A-League 2020/21 season.
The 21-year-old most recently plied his trade with Western United where he played 10 matches last year.
Cavallo had previously spent time in both Melbourne Victory and Melbourne City’s youth set-ups before joining Western United in 2019.
Speaking about his decision to move to the Reds, Cavallo said: “I’m really excited to be joining Adelaide United this season.
“I’ve been training with the team for a few weeks now and they’ve really embraced me and made me feel right at home here in Adelaide.
“This is a great opportunity for me to improve as a player under Carl (Veart) and his coaching team.
“The Club has shown belief in me so I’m excited to get going.
“Nothing is guaranteed, but I’ve come here to work hard, show my abilities, and help the team win.”
Adelaide United’s Director of Football, Bruce Djite, said: “We’re very happy to have added Josh to our squad for the remainder of the season.
“Over the past few weeks Josh has been training with the squad and has impressed the coaches.
We look forward to the positive impact Josh will have on our squad both on and off the field.”
Cavallo will wear the number 27 shirt for the Reds throughout the remainder of the 2020/21 season.
