After a thrilling finale to the 20th regular season of the Isuzu UTE A-League Men, the top six finals places have been locked in on the final weekend, to set up a mouth-watering month of finals football.
Melbourne City locked in second spot in the final round of the regular season to join Premiers Auckland FC in the Semi-Finals, and earn a week off and a place in the 2025/26 AFC Champions League Elite, after defeating Sydney FC 5-1 on Saturday night.
Western United successfully sealed third spot after defeating Premiers, Auckland FC 4-2 on Saturday evening, to set up a home Elimination Final against sixth placed Adelaide United, who locked in their top six place after Sydney FC failed to take a point against Melbourne City in their last match of the season. Western United will host Adelaide United on Friday 9 May at Ironbark Fields with the winner advancing to the two-legged Semi Finals.
The second Elimination Final sees Western Sydney Wanderers host old rivals, Melbourne Victory after the Wanderers defeated Macarthur Bulls 3-1 to close out the regular season. The fourth versus fifth cut-throat Elimination Final will be played on Saturday 10 May at CommBank Stadium, with the winner progressing to the Semi Finals.
Having secured the Premier’s Plate in the penultimate round, Auckland FC has also locked in a home Semi-Final second leg at Go Media Stadium on Saturday 24 May. The Black Knights will face the lowest placed Elimination Final winner, while Melbourne City will take on the highest placed Elimination Final winner over two-legs, with City to host the second leg at AAMI Park on Saturday 24 May.
The two Semi-Final winners will progress to the Isuzu UTE A-League 2025 Grand Final, with the highest placed team from the regular season earning the right to host the Isuzu UTE A-League Grand Final on Saturday 31 May.

Tickets for Western Sydney Wanderers’ Elimination Final against Melbourne Victory at CommBank Stadium will go on sale at 10am AEST on Monday 5 May for home and away club members, followed by the general public on sale at 1pm AEST on Tuesday 6 May via www.ticketek.com.au

Tickets for Auckland’s home Semi Final second leg will go on sale at 10am AEST/ 12pm NZT on tomorrow, Monday 5 May for home team club members via ticketmaster.co.nz and away club fans next at 10am AEST/ 12pm NZT next Monday 12 May once the opponent is confirmed, before General Public at 1pm AEST and 3pm NZT on Tuesday 13 May.
